Refund policy
At nvkids Boutique, we take great pride in offering high-quality children's formal wear and special occasion outfits. We encourage customers to carefully review sizing information before placing an order. If you require assistance, our team is always happy to help with sizing advice before purchase.
For additional peace of mind, customers are welcome to request a video consultation prior to purchasing. During the video call, we can assist with sizing, measurements, garment details, styling advice, and answer any questions to help ensure you choose the right outfit for your special occasion.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
We are not required to provide refunds for change of mind purchases, incorrect size selection, delayed events, cancelled events, or simply because the item is no longer required.
However, we may offer a store credit or exchange for eligible items if:
- You contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
- The item is returned within 14 days of delivery.
- The item is unworn, unwashed, unused, and in original condition.
- All tags, packaging, accessories, and garment bags are intact.
- The item shows no signs of wear, damage, stains, perfume, makeup, deodorant, pet hair, or alteration.
Once inspected and approved, a store credit or exchange will be issued for the purchase price of the item excluding shipping charges.
Store credits are valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE
For hygiene, customisation, and special-order reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty under Australian Consumer Law:
- Custom-made dresses
- Made-to-measure garments
- Altered garments
- Special order items
- Personalised items
- Clearance or final sale items
- Hair accessories and headpieces
- Bonnets
- Socks and tights
- Jewellery and earrings
- Gift cards
Please choose carefully when purchasing these items.
CUSTOM-MADE & MADE-TO-MEASURE ORDERS
All custom-made and made-to-measure garments are produced specifically to the measurements and requirements supplied by the customer.
As these garments are created exclusively for you:
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Full payments are non-refundable.
- Exchanges and store credits are not available.
- Returns are not accepted for incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.
If you are unsure about measurements, please contact our team before placing your order.
SALE ITEMS
Sale items may be returned for a store credit or exchange only if they meet all return eligibility requirements.
Items marked:
"Final Sale", "Clearance", or "No Returns"
cannot be returned, exchanged, or credited unless faulty under Australian Consumer Law.
FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you believe you have received a faulty item or an incorrect order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs showing the fault
Once assessed, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, which may include:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Store credit
- Refund
where applicable.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
RETURN SHIPPING
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service as nvkids Boutique cannot be responsible for parcels lost or damaged during transit.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
EXCHANGES
Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
If your requested exchange item is unavailable, a store credit will be issued instead.
Any price difference between exchanged items must be paid prior to shipment.
